Every LEGO set retiring in 2023 – October update

There are dozens of notable LEGO sets scheduled to retire at the end of 2023 as the end of the year draws closer, including some massive models.

The season of spooks is almost here but that doesn't stop the passage of time and the impending arrival of hundreds of sets' retirement dates at the end of 2023. With various holidays on the horizon and several exciting gifts-with-purchase currently available alongside some brand-new builds, these retiring sets can serve as a good chance to catch up before a new year starts and score some interesting freebies at once.

As always, these dates are subject to change at a moment's notice, but traditionally as we near the end of the year we see fewer changes and it appears that many of the dates in this month's list are starting to be finalised.

It's worth noting that some of these dates are different to what is being advertised on LEGO.com, with some sets on the website marked with the 'Last Chance' sticker that, according to our sources, aren't retiring soon. For now, it might be wise to assume that LEGO.com is correct just in case. Here's your October update to every LEGO set retiring in 2023.

LEGO Star Wars retiring sets 2023

Out of the LEGO Star Wars sets retiring in 2023, the recently-released 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama from the start of this month comes as a surprise entry onto the list as of last month and has remained in this spot, making it unlikely to be a mistake. Act fast to pick up this unique seasonal Star Wars model.

LEGO Ideas retiring sets 2023

Nothing new for LEGO Ideas this month so continue to keep 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 21326 Winnie the Pooh and 21337 Table Football in mind as we round out the year.

LEGO Marvel retiring sets 2023

LEGO Marvel's retiring set selection for 2023 remains the same but it's worth a reminder to pick up this year's advent calendar for the theme as it's only on shelves for a few months – not unheard of for LEGO advent calendars.

LEGO Harry Potter retiring sets 2023

Things are still in the Wizarding World in October 2023 as there's nothing new for the LEGO Harry Potter sets retiring at the end of the year.

LEGO Technic retiring sets 2023

As complicated as its many models are, LEGO Technic isn't immune to retiring dates and these builds are all still scheduled to retire at the end of 2023.

LEGO Icons retiring sets 2023

As we near the end of 2023, the selection of retiring models seems to be set in stone and that's the case with LEGO Icons – no changes to mention this month.

LEGO Creator retiring sets 2023

Though there are no updates to the LEGO Creator sets retiring at the end of 2023, the recent release of 21343 Viking Village may inspire you to pick up 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent. Do so fast as it's not got much longer on shelves.

LEGO Speed Champions retiring sets 2023

These LEGO Speed Champions sets are nearly at the finish line, and by that we mean it's only a couple of months until they retire with no changes to mention this month.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures retiring sets 2023

It's almost the date for Disney's 100th anniversary and while there's nothing new for LEGO BrickHeadz' 2023 retiring sets, it's the most appropriate month to pick up 40622 Disney 100th Celebration before it retires.
