A full list of rumoured LEGO Star Wars January 2027 sets has surfaced, and we've got some minifigures on our mind that we'd love to see in them.
From a new Cloud City duel to the return of the X-wing Microfighter, we've got a decent idea of what to expect from LEGO Star Wars early next year, thanks to a new rumour. Most of these models are familiar concepts, but this just means an opportunity for some never-before-seen minifigures.
Read on to see which new minifigures we'd love to see in the rumoured January 2027 LEGO Star Wars sets.
Hera Syndulla
We've had two LEGO X-wing Microfighters in years gone by, and 75463 X-wing Microfighter is rumoured to give us another. Luke, in his pilot garb, is the obvious choice for a minifigure in this set, pairing with the rumoured 75482 Up-Scaled Pilot Luke Minifigure. However, the likes of 75400 Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter Microfighter and 75391 Captain Rex Y-wing Microfighter have us hoping for someone rarer.
Hera Syndulla in pilot garb would be our pick, based on the scene from Star Wars Rebels where she leads an X-wing squadron against Thrawn's fleet. It's an opportunity for another Star Wars: Rebels set, while tying loosely into the upcoming second season of Ahsoka. It also wouldn't be Hera's first Microfighter.
Mustafar Separatists
The rumoured 75470 Mustafar Duel has plenty of minifigure potential, and the less obvious pick to expand beyond Obi-Wan and Anakin are some of the Separatists Anakin takes out upon landing. These surely wouldn't be the LEGO Group's first choice, since they're only present for a few seconds, and there's a much better option to expand the minifigure selection for such a set.
Pregnant Padmé

A minifigure of Padmé when she is pregnant has been a long time coming, with a design featured in the Skywalker Saga video game. If there's going to be any minifigures beyond Obi-Wan and Anakin in the rumoured 75470 Mustafar Duel, we can only hope that it's the Padmé we've been waiting for.
An Ewok with more than just a hood
On occasion, LEGO Star Wars battle packs include a named character, which somewhat defeats the point of a battle pack. For the rumoured 75476 Endor Battle Pack, though, this is an opportunity to bring back some of the more unique Ewok minifigures. Both Logray and Teebo, with their unique headwear, would be good picks for this rumoured battle pack. They would require a new mould each, but we can dream.
Luke skywalker missing a hand

We'll finish up this list with easily the most outlandish and unlikely pick. Now that expectations have been set, we'd love to see a Luke Skywalker minifigure with a missing hand in 75480 Bespin Duel. Whether the LEGO Group simply doesn't attach the right hand during production, or makes an entirely new element, it would add a lot to the display value of a set based on this iconic scene.
It might even be best to make this a second Luke Skywalker minifigure in the set, with mostly reused printing between them. The likelihood of this happening is incredibly unlikely, since it would likely present issues during the minifigure production, but we did preface this entry accordingly.
