A new LEGO Marvel book with an exclusive minifigure is coming next year, and the possibilities of who will take that spot are endless.
LEGO Marvel's next book-exclusive minifigure has been announced for June 4, 2026, as part of LEGO Marvel Secrets of the Avengers. Details are light aside from the price of £14.99, but the draft cover indicates that this title will focus specifically on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The usage of 'Marvel Studios multiverse' in the corner hints that this book will be limited to covering characters from the movies, series and other projects within the MCU. Since this is a draft page, the design is subject to change, but this text may be an indication of what to expect in the 2026 book.
This helps narrow down the exclusive minifigures' possible identities. The last three LEGO Marvel books with minifigures covered a new variant of Iron Man, Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Spider-Man, each based on existing source material rather than an original design.
From this, we can assume that the 2026 exclusive book minifigure will be a variant of an existing character, and the title indicates that this someone will need to be a member of the Avengers from the MCU. That leaves us with Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk, Thor and Captain America as the strongest contenders, and the main Avengers members.
We've had no repeats in the Marvel books' exclusive minifigures so far, but there are dozens of other Iron Man suits from the MCU still to cover in minifigure form. A remake of an existing Iron Man minifigure, such as the Silver Centurion armour from a game-exclusive polybag, would also be rewarding for newer LEGO Marvel fans.
Spider-Man's MCU suits are extensively covered in the world of minifigures, as are Captain America's. Switching to members that would be new for the book-exclusive minifigures, Thor has a few that would be good, such as his temporary Guardians of the Galaxy outfit seen in the opening of Thor: Love and Thunder. The casual outfit wouldn't need any cape either, the inclusion of which would be an issue when packaged in the standard LEGO book covers for its size.
Black Widow's white costume from her solo movie remains exclusive to 77905 Taskmaster's Ambush, and a wide release of that outfit would be similarly useful for new Marvel fans to the Silver Centurion. When it comes to Hawkeye, the character's outfits have been well-represented in Marvel, but there's one major outlier. The character's Ronin outfit has yet to be depicted in LEGO and given the context of this outfit, a book-exclusive minifigure is likely our only at getting one.
There are many other possibilities for this upcoming exclusive minifigure, but a variant of a more iconic character seems to be the most likely. We probably won't know who is in the book until a couple of months before the release of LEGO Marvel Secrets of the Avengers on June 4, 2026, looking at past book updates.
