The Brick Search team wants to know which of the 36 LEGO Collectible Minifigures was hardest to find in 2024, as part of their wide-ranging survey into the theme and how collecting it has changed.
CMFs for 2024 began in January with Series 25 and such in-demand minifigures as Film Noir Detective, E-Sports Gamer and Goatherd – complete with goat. But Series 25 also introduced a new element to minifigure collecting: scannable codes on the bottom of the boxes.
It is these codes and their impact on your experience as a CMF collector that Brick Search is asking about. Did the scannable codes – and the Brick Search minifigure scanner, introduced shortly after Series 25 hit the shelves – make it easier to find the minifigures you were looking for? What did you like about Brick Search’s minifigure scanner? And if you could influence Brick Search’s future development, what features would you like to see added next?

Hundreds of LEGO fans have already taken the Brick Search CMF 2024 survey, revealing the length of their LEGO fandom, the extent of their minifigure collection and their hopes for future CMF series. The results will give a fascinating insight into how the LEGO community views CMFs and the good and bad of collecting them ahead of possible CMF releases in 2025.
Indeed, after 2024 saw major changes to how minifigures are collected with the introduction of scannable codes and the Brick Search minifigure scanner, 2025 could be another landmark year the history of the CMF theme – and see more changes in how it and other LEGO themes are collected.
So if you want to weigh in on CMFs in 2024, help the team determine the hardest individual Collectible Minifigure to find this year and share what you hope to see from the theme and the Brick Search app in future, take the survey and make your voice heard.
