Well, technically June 3...

What new LEGO will I be buying on June 1, 2026?

June is one of my favourite months for new LEGO sets, and this year's selection is looking amazing, but to start, I'm keeping things small.

My usual LEGO shopping plans for June include a fairly massive purchase to catch up on my favourite summer sets, leaving some for a later date. Of all the summer 2026 models across various themes, which you can browse by clicking here, several dozen have caught my eye and will be finding their way into my home at some point.

However, my usual plans have been complicated this year, as much of my money has gone towards my first house. My leftover, reduced LEGO budget for June will be going almost entirely towards new releases still, but I'll be kicking things off with some of the smallest new releases.

The hope is that this way, I can get a taste of the new waves without spending too much. I look forward to building the rest at a later date, maybe even with some discounts. That would have included most of the new City sets, but I'll be reviewing those shortly. Stay tuned.

Read on to see what my LEGO shopping plans for June 1 are, or rather June 3, when I'll be heading to my local LEGO store to browse the Pick a Brick wall. It's close enough to the start of the month, right?

One of my absolute favourite new LEGO sets coming next month is the long-awaited Decepticon leader in 40924 Megatron Robot & Vehicle. As much as I love my copy of the larger 10302 Optimus Prime, there's something so charming about the Transformers BrickHeadz, and I've been looking for an opportunity to add one to my collection.

The first LEGO Megatron is exactly that opportunity. 40924 Megatron Robot & Vehicle features an adorable duo of models based on the character, and it seems plausible that this will be our only LEGO Megatron representation. Whether that's the case or not, I look forward to building 40924 Megatron Robot & Vehicle as soon as possible.

LEGO Creator's 31383 Floral Perfume Bottle is another high-interest release for me, but not for any of the three final models. As I've been fleshing out my LEGO City with various heroes, I've been finding myself in constant need of transparent pieces to depict them flying.

31383 Floral Perfume Bottle packs in quite a few for the price and with varying colours for different flight trails. That printed tile will also make the perfect graffiti or advert on a random wall, too.

lego 40926 contents

As excited as I am for 31383 Floral Perfume Bottle, I'm much more eager to build 40926 SEGA Genesis Console. I've managed to collect all of the LEGO console recreations so far and have them all on display next to my real consoles. That unfortunately means I'm starting to seriously run out of space, and that's why I love 40926 SEGA Genesis Console.

40926 SEGA Genesis Console may not be at the same scale as the rest of the consoles or even the SEGA Genesis controller gift-with-purchase, but its smaller size is ideal for me. That also means a lower price tag so that it can fit neatly into my June 1 shopping list, rather than waiting until later in the month.

Speaking of small-sized models, the retired Durrr Burger ended up being one of my favourite sets of 2024 for its quirky appearance and innovative build. That experience has made me excited for 77079 Tomatohead. The duo will display fantastically together, and I adore the micro scene inside the build.

lego ninjago 71863 1

As Brick Fanatics' resident NINJAGO expert, 71863 Zilvar & Grimtak is my number one priority in the June 2026 set selection. Not only does it feature the only Draconus Form minifigure that I'm missing, but you can't ignore that exclusive Zilvar minifigure.

I have no idea who this character is, but their resemblance to Ras makes me excited to learn more over the coming months. The build is the perfect size to fit in the middle of NINJAGO City Markets, too, terrorising the residents. I can't overlook that new sword hip holster element, either, with a spare seemingly included according to early reviews.

71863 Zilvar & Grimtak rounds out my June 1 shopping list, but rest assured that the likes of 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. are must-haves for later in the month, or year.
