Two new LEGO Star Wars dioramas now available for pre-order at LEGO.com

After a lot of anticipation among LEGO and Star Wars fans, and of course a combination of both, the two new LEGO Star Wars dioramas from Return of the Jedi are now available to pre-order at LEGO.com.

The sets include 75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama and 75353 Endor Speeder Chase Diorama, and based on our visual tour alone they both seem like detailed sets that remain faithful to the 1983 film.

Both of the diorama sets will ship from May 1, just in time for the all-important 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi on May 25. 75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama shows us a pivotal scene, but not one that hasn’t been represented in LEGO form before. While 75093 Death Star Final Duel also gave us a look at Luke confronting Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine in the throne room, the new 40th anniversary set gives us a slightly different angle as well as the three minifigures involved in the scene.

75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama makes a lot more sense in terms of display value, with the scene focusing cleverly on the circular window element. The whole set comes in at 807 pieces and will be available for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99.

75353 Endor Speeder Chase Diorama has similarly been seen before with 7128 Speeder Bikes from 1999, but the difference that we’re getting for the 40th anniversary is incredible. There’s a lot more detail in the scene overall, and we now have a Leia minifigure to match with Luke as they speed through the forests of Endor, as well as a Scout Trooper. The set has 608 pieces, and will be available for £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99.

Both dioramas will come with a quote from the film too, and knowing how popular Star Wars sets can be, particularly with the 40th anniversary coming up, it would probably be safer to pre-order these now rather than risk missing out – at least if you want them in the first week.
