LEGO Monkie Kid is about to rival NINJAGO when it comes to enormous cityscapes, thanks to a combined trio of sets from the theme.
Thanks to the newly-revealed 80054 Megapolis City, we now know how LEGO Monkie Kid will be kicking off 2024: with a huge anniversary celebration. At 2,330 pieces and with 16 exclusive minifigures, it's already pretty big – but there's no need to stop there if you want a truly massive display.
Combining every January 1 LEGO Monkie Kid release between 2022 and 2024 will result in an enormous brick-built urban sprawl, made up of three sets. Joining 80054 Megapolis City are 2022's 80036 The City of Lanterns and 2023's 80044 Monkie Kid's Team Hideout, as pictured below.

The result is a 6,099-piece combined display with a total price of £369.57 / $489.97 / €419.97. It has a similar busy, urban feel as 71799 NINJAGO City Markets, with an almost identical price and piece count to match. All in all, you'd also have 29 minifigures, as well as two robots and a cat.
80054 Megapolis City makes up the centre of the build, complete with various stacked shops and an elevator to traverse between them. 80036 The City of Lanterns opens up the front, with its sky train and track, while 80044 Monkie Kid's Team Hideout slots in on the right. From the image produced by the LEGO Group, the final effect appears to be pretty unified, making for an impressive city display.
