Our method of ranking each series isn't as simple as that of our Spider-Verse series ranking. To better understand how each series directly compares to the others as a whole, we're assigning each minifigure in a series a score out of 10 based on their level of detail and new pieces, then taking the average of each series to see which comes out on top.
This is an entirely subjective ranking, and feel free to share your rankings for both the minifigures and the series in the comments below. Here's how we've ranked the 12 minifigures in 71031 Marvel Studios, 71039 Marvel Studios Series 2 and 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Taking the average score for each series' 12 minifigures gives us a subjective ranking for every LEGO Marvel minifigure series. 71031 Marvel Studios scores an average of 7.3 / 10, 71039 Marvel Studios Series 2 has earned a 7.75 / 10 and 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse scores 7.92 /10.
That consequently means, according to this personal ranking, that 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse comes out on top between its 12 minifigures and their level of detail compared to the previous two Marvel series. Notably, every series has improved the score in our ranking.
