Three out of five LEGO Animal Crossing sets already on back order

LEGO Animal Crossing is seemingly off to a flying start in its very first wave, with three sets already sold out, among others from five other themes.

The new LEGO sets that go on back order quickly are often a good indication of ones that are selling well, with demand seemingly outpacing the LEGO Group's expectations. Just a few hours into March 1, three out of the five sets in the newly-launched LEGO Animal Crossing theme are already on back order in the UK, with 77049 Isabelle's House Visit not shipping until March 11, and 77050 Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House and 77048 Kapp'n's Island Boat Tour not shipping until March 27.

This is tentatively good news for the brand-new theme, suggesting that the theme is doing well in its early days. What's more, LEGO Animal Crossing is not alone in selling well on the first day of the new month. LEGO Disney 43237 Isabela's Flowerpot won't ship until March 27, while fellow LEGO Disney set 43249 Stitch is on back order until March 8.

Following a massively positive response to the reveal of 32254 Forest Animals: Red Fox, the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set is now not shipping until March 11, while LEGO Speed Champions fans will need to wait until March 11 for 76922 BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars. Finally, LEGO Technic 42170 Kawasaki Ninja H2R Motorcycle is also on pause until March 11.

Over in the United States, only one set is on back order, with LEGO Star Wars 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV now not shipping until March 21. With this only the first day of the month, it might be wise to get your new month LEGO orders in while you can.
