The latest LEGO modular building is undeniably rooted in British culture, but how much do you really know about pubs, Tudor architecture and fish and chips? Pull up a chair for this week’s history lesson…
10350 Tudor Corner will make its mark on the Modular Buildings Collection on January 1, putting a firmly British stamp on a line-up that has so far combined architectural influences from all around the world. It’s not the first localised modular building – that accolade goes to 10243 Parisian Restaurant, and then later 10260 Downtown Diner – but it is the first so ostensibly tied to the United Kingdom.
Or more accurately England, because a lot of the design influences here actually predate the formation of the UK. That’s the first little bit of history we’re digging into in our latest video retrospective, which takes a deep dive into the real story behind this fictitious building. Hit play below to check it out for yourself.
If you’ve seen either of our videos on 10335 The Endurance or 31214 LOVE, you should know what to expect – only this time you might leave a little hungrier than when you started…
10350 Tudor Corner launches January 1, 2025 for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99. If you buy yours between January 1 and 7, you’ll receive a free 40757 Corner Kiosk (while stocks last).
