Heading into day two of crowdfunding, two sets are vying for the top-selling spot in the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7.
After crowdfunding for the five fan-designed sets in the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 kicked off yesterday, another look at the source code for the website shows that two of the sets are virtually neck and neck: 910059 Privateer Frigate Fortuna and 910060 Sushi Restaurant. The former is at 80% (79.5, if we're being exact) while the latter is just a few 0.1 percentage points behind at 79%.
Those two are seemingly the most pre-ordered sets of the series, with 910062 Alchemist's Shop coming in close behind at 73% at the time of writing. These numbers account for the total percentage of models pre-ordered so far relative to the maximum number of copies that can be produced.
That starts off at 30,000 copies, but can change according to demand, with the BrickLink Designer Program team introducing dynamic limits for Series 6 of the initiative. This means that the maximum number of sets to be produced can increase for those with the most pre-orders – although all five will still have a limited run.
While this means that the Series 7 sets are less likely to sell out, as we saw in earlier series, it's still not wise to wait around too long to avoid disappointment. Click through the links in the table below to order your copy today.
