Star Wars' Maul show gives retired LEGO minifigure new life

The new episodes for Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord have given a retired LEGO minifigure new life, and you might want to secure your copy soon.

The latest batch of episodes for the most recent Star Wars series has brought back a character whose only appearance on screen wasn't as impactful as expected. This article will feature spoilers for episodes five and six of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord.

Marrok was revealed as the Inquisitor hunting Maul in the new episodes, bringing back the character after he appeared briefly in the Ahsoka series. Note that Shadow Lord takes place chronologically before Ahsoka. The character's showtime in Ahsoka was more limited than some may have thought, but they take the spotlight in animated form as part of Maul's series.

Their presence is suitably intimidating in the new episodes, and their appearance has been praised by fans. There are no sets for Shadow Lord on shelves, and none likely for the first season at this point. The good news is that thanks to the Ahsoka series, you can get a slice of Maul Shadow Lord.

Marrok received a minifigure in 75362 Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle, which is now retired. This minifigure comes with a specialised head and armour piece. They combine to make an authentic minifigure of the character, but with more rust than he has in Shadow Lord.

This LEGO Star Wars set is now retired, making this minifigure inaccessible by most official means. You can still secure the set on Amazon UK for £78.23, over the original RRP. Alternatively, the Marrok minifigure is available alone for an average of £9.19 on BrickLink. That price may well increase following his appearance this week, but that's only speculation.

Pair this retired Marrok minifigure with Maul from 75411 Darth Maul Mech, and you'll be well on your way to recreating the train fight from the most recent episode. Based on the ending of that episode, we may well see more returning inquisitors in the following weeks, too.

Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord has been renewed for a second season, but with no LEGO sets to its name at the time of writing. Here's what is currently planned for LEGO Star Wars in 2026.
