Second LEGO Ideas review welcomes first Miyazaki Model

It wouldn’t be a LEGO Ideas review without at least one fan submission based on the work of legendary Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki.

The second LEGO Ideas review of 2026 is starting to pick up steam, with multiple submissions currently competing to become physical future sets. The latest impressive model to have hit 10K supporters is My Neighbor Totoro Theatrical Poster, a brick-built version of the film’s Japanese one sheet and an homage to its creator, Hayao Miyazaki.

Designed and assembled by jazlecraz, the build appears to have taken a leaf out of the LEGO Art playbook, delivering a set that could potentially be displayed either freestanding or placed on a wall for all to see.

My Neighbor Totoro Theatrical Poster takes its cue from the original Japanese B1 poster, which was used to promote the animated Studio Ghibli film in 1988. The 3D brick-built interpretation of that image features both Satsuki Kusakabi waiting at a bus stop and holding her umbrella, as well as the large Totoro beside her.

The fan designer has even added the Kanji text included on the original My Neighbor Totoro poster on their own LEGO Ideas submission, featuring both the movie’s title and a tagline which essentially translates as ‘This strange creature is still in Japan. Probably.’

Time will tell if My Neighbor Totoro Theatrical Poster manages to make it any further in the second LEGO Ideas review of 2026, but for now you can check out all of the current 10K submissions in the table below.
