First rumoured LEGO Architecture 2026 set travels back to France

The first of four LEGO Architecture sets rumoured to be hitting shelves in 2026 will reportedly sweep us back to the streets of France.

Instagram user jjpsleaksite claims in a new Story that 21064 Paris will debut on January 1 for $79.99 in the US, with 958 pieces in the box. Architecture sets named after entire cities have previously belonged to the Skylines collection, including 2019’s 21044 Paris – which is still available to buy six years later, but is currently scheduled to retire by the end of 2025.

With our speculation hat on, there’s a chance that 21064 Paris could be a new and improved version of what’s clearly been a perennial best-seller for the LEGO Group (given its longevity on shelves), although there’s quite a gulf in piece count between the two sets. 21044 Paris includes just 649 elements, or 309 fewer than the reported piece count for 2026’s 21064 Paris.

A nearly 50% increase in parts wouldn’t necessarily translate to a 50% bigger set, though. We’re in an era of LEGO design language where increasing numbers of small pieces contribute to more densely-built rather than sprawling models, so the additional elements could just as easily help to create more detailed versions of the Parisian buildings depicted in the original skyline.

Or this rumoured LEGO Architecture set could be something else entirely. ‘Paris’ could just as easily be a placeholder name for a set depicting a specific Parisian landmark, joining the likes of 21014 Villa Savoye, 21019 The Eiffel Tower, 21024 Louvre, 21036 Arc de Triomphe and most recently 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris. France is a very well-travelled country from a LEGO Architecture perspective.

For now, we have nothing more to go on than the set name, piece count and price tag, but either way it’s nice to see LEGO Architecture potentially serving up a sub-£100 set again. The last one of those came all the way back in 2022, in the form of another skyline in 21057 Singapore. But remember to still take any rumoured LEGO set info with a pinch of salt…
