The LEGO Group has confirmed many sets retiring later this year, including some that are worth watching for their minifigures before stock runs dry.
From the big Bowser to multiple modular buildings, some of the dozens of sets retiring later this year are worth keeping an eye on. Some are starting to run out of stock, or are already gone for good, on the official online store. These builds offer some unique features, but these and other models are also worth tracking ahead of their retirement for their minifigure selection.
Here are a few LEGO sets due to retire later this year, which feature minifigures that will catch your eye, and may cause the sets to disappear from shelves before the end of 2025. This list isn't comprehensive, and you can see which models are due to retire this year by clicking here.
LEGO Star Wars
There are at least four LEGO Star Wars sets retiring in 2025 with minifigures to keep an eye on. This includes 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship, which has received an updated torso for Commander Fox in its remaining months, according to some fans. 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship's best minifigures include Chancellor Palpatine and Padme, as well as Commander Fox. 75357 Ghost & Phantom II is sure to be useful ahead of Ahsoka Season 2 and is the only set to include Hera that is currently available.
75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea will be similarly useful for the second season of Ahsoka, and includes exclusive minifigures of Ezra and Thrawn, both of which are likely to appear in the next instalment of the series. Rounding out this selection is 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit, acting as an ideal accompaniment to 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge and offering unique depictions of a disguised Lando as well as the first and only minifigure of Nien Nunb.
Switching to LEGO Disney, some of the theme's most exciting minifigures retiring later this year can be found in the huge 43222 Disney Castle. While many of this set's minifigures have since appeared in other sets, Rapunzel, Flynn, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Naveen remain available only in this build.
The other set to include the Snow White and Prince Florian minifigures is also due to retire at the end of 2025. 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage features its own selection of exclusive minifigures based on animated icons – all seven dwarfs.
More big builds with many minifigures
Some of the other huge LEGO sets retiring later this year that include exclusive and desirable minifigures include 71799 NINJAGO City Markets. NINJAGO enthusiasts will want to keep an eye on this set ahead of the 15th anniversary next year for its inclusion of Cyrus Borg, Chamille and Detective Zane, but these are just a handful of the set's 21 minifigures.
76178 Daily Bugle is arguably the best retiring LEGO set for minifigures, and it's already on back order in some regions. The exclusive minifigures in this set include our only appearances of Marvel characters in minifigure form, featuring Daredevil, Punisher, Blade, Black Cat and Firestar. Beyond these, J. Jonah Jameson has a fun face print, and Spider-Ham isn't easy to find elsewhere in LEGO Marvel.
