Potted Plants takes root as latest LEGO Ideas set to reach 10K

A successful fan-designed LEGO Ideas submission has hit 10K and is looking to take on the LEGO Botanicals theme at its own game.

The third LEGO Ideas review of 2025 has only been open for submissions for just over a week now, but has already seen 10 different fan-designed creations manage to reach the lofty 10K mark.

That line-up of models has grown once again, joined by yet another impressive submission thanks to InspektorSchrecklicherTeller. Potted Plants appears to be taking a leaf out of the LEGO Botanicals theme's book, offering up a selection of brick-built plants and flowers, sat on wooden stands.

The fan-designer behind the submission decided to take his own approach when it came to assembling the model, opting to add unique bowls to each creation, using shades of tan, brown and other colours in order to make them look much more realistic.

That includes clever usage of LEGO Star Wars Battle Droid arms for one container, while black tread elements have been combined to create another. There’s no information on exactly which plants and flowers have been included in the design, but the fan builder does at least note that they can be displayed on their own or as a group.

We’ll have to be patient and wait and see if Potted Plants manages to grow into a full LEGO Ideas set for now though, with the results of the third review of 2025 to be revealed sometime later this year.
