LEGO House 40507 I Love Billund revisits familiar inspiration, but the designer made sure to tweak the formula to keep things fresh.
2026's LEGO House exclusive 40507 I Love Billund is not the first set to be based on the Home of the Brick. However, the set's designer, Maria, made sure that both its build experience and aesthetic remained distinct from LEGO Architecture 21037 LEGO House.
"Even though you have the LEGO House in both sets, they're quite different build-wise," Maria explained in a presentation to LEGO Fan Media. "They also serve different purposes, because 21037 LEGO House is for those who want to have a bigger version of the LEGO House displayed.

"It has different details and different building techniques, whereas 40507 I Love Billund is more of a postcard or a souvenir. It comes with other parts of Billund and provides a different building experience. It really depends on what you'd like, and I don't think that it excludes you from buying both, if you'd like."
That's not to say that brick-built LEGO Houses of the past didn't feed into Maria's work on 40507 I Love Billund, however.
"I looked at 21037 LEGO House and 40563 Tribute to LEGO House, and this is somewhere in between," she explained. "It's a little bit bigger than 40563 Tribute to LEGO House, plus it has the accessible roof and all the interior details that are unique to it. But of course, it's the same building as well, so there are similarities to the previous sets."
Visitors to the LEGO House Retail Store in Billund will be able to get their hands on 40507 I Love Billund from March 1 for a limited time, with the set priced at 749 DKK, with the model also available for a limited time only at LEGOLAND Billund from March 28.
