Official images of LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box GWP

The LEGO Group has published official images of the upcoming Mimic Dice Box gift-with-purchase, which will be free with the first orders of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale.

Available exclusively with the latest LEGO Ideas set from April 1 to 7 (or while stocks last), 5008325 Mimic Dice Box includes a D&D-themed chest with printed eyes, a moving tongue and space inside for a set of dice. It’s a fun freebie for early adopters of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, though one that – thanks to its limited availability – few fans will find themselves owning.

That’s because 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is not what you’d call a cheap LEGO Ideas set, coming in at £314.99 / $359.99 / €359.99. And you’ll need to be quick if you want this freebie: similar sets, such as the yellow taxi that was free with 76269 Avengers Tower in November 2023, have sold out pretty much instantly. Don’t expect it to last the full seven days…

The 168-piece model will also be very difficult to recreate with your own pieces at home, because it includes brand new and exclusive printed eye elements. It would be nice for those to turn up on Pick a Brick eventually, but we’re not holding our breath. The result is that 5008325 Mimic Dice Box (or 6510864, which is the number printed on the packaging) could end up bring a pretty valuable LEGO gift-with-purchase on the aftermarket.
