A price comparison site has published listings for four previously-unannounced LEGO promotional sets, among which is a mystery Disney model reportedly launching in July.
The LEGO Group’s already going gangbusters for Disney’s 100th anniversary in 2023, but it sounds like it’s not planning to take its foot off the gas any time soon. As well as the already-released 43212 Disney Celebration Train,
That’s according to brickmerge.de, which has listed set number 40600 under the Disney theme, with a release date of July 2023. That product number could place it in the realm of a gift-with-purchase – or simply a set sold exclusively through LEGO.com and LEGO Stores, such as 40478 Mini Disney Castle and 40521 Mini Disney Haunted Mansion.
40600 reportedly comes in at just 226 pieces, though, compared to 567 and 680 pieces respectively for those sets. It therefore seems unlikely to be a successor to those models (and that slot may already be filled by the rumoured 40613 Palace of Agrabah), and consequently could be some kind of free gift to accompany 43222 Disney Castle, which is also said to be arriving in July.
Brickmerge has also published listings for three more promotional sets, each following the 40XXX numbering, and two of which sound like festive builds for the run-up to the holiday season. 40640 Nutcracker and 40642 Gingerbread Ornaments will apparently debut in September, while the as-yet-unnamed 40693 is slated to arrive in July.
