With a new book and movie in 2025, the Hunger Games is getting a fresh resurgence this year – and that's bleeding across into LEGO Ideas.
A detailed LEGO recreation of the 75th Hunger Games arena has gained 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. BrickGallery's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire captures all 12 segments of the arena, complete with seven minifigures of Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, Beetee, Johanna Mason, Finnick Odair, President Snow, and a Peacekeeper.
The base of the build also features the iconic mockingjay symbol that endures throughout all four movies, with three different possible iterations based on the three different books. With the Cornucopia, hovercraft, and plants removed, this symbol can be hung on the wall, leaving the arena as a separate playset.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire makes 28 fan-designed projects in the second LEGO Ideas review of 2025, which is already packed with other potential IPs. With Hunger Games fever stronger than ever, after two prequel books and soon-to-be two prequel movies, there's never been a better time for the world of Suzanne Collins to translate into a LEGO set.
