Lowest prices yet on LEGO Mario Kart wave

Catch up on the first wave of LEGO Mario Kart sets at their best prices yet ahead of the latest LEGO Super Mario 18+ set racing on to shelves in May.

72037 Mario & Standard Kart is bringing us a brand new supersized Mario figure and kart later this year, but it’s not the LEGO Group’s first foray into Mario Kart in 2025. That honour goes to the wave of playsets that dropped on January 1, all of which are compatible with the digital Mario, Luigi and Peach figures – and most of which you can now pick up for their lowest prices yet at Amazon.

That includes 72031 Yoshi Bike, 72034 Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi, 72035 Toad’s Garage and 72036 Baby Peach & Grand Prix. 72032 Standard Kart was also previously discounted but has already sold out, so it’s worth keeping an eye on if and when that one comes back in stock – and it also suggests the rest may get snapped up swiftly too. The first wave of LEGO Mario Kart 2025 sets includes everything you need to set up your own race, including multiple cars and bikes, buildable characters, a starting line, plenty of item boxes, banana skins and even red and green shells you can fire at other racers. All four of these sets are at least 20% off right now at Amazon.

You’ll maximise the fun by combining them with a digital Mario, Luigi or Peach figure – sold separately in individual LEGO Super Mario starter kits – but the beauty of these sets is that they’ll work just as well on their own, because you don’t need the tech to race them around your living room floor or desk.
