A brand-new LEGO Winter Village set is just around the bend, but the current retirement schedule means newcomers will need to act fast.
LEGO Icons 10361 Holiday Express Train is the latest set in the long line of LEGO Winter Village models, following up on the last festive train set. It's due to be released on October 1 for £109.99 / $129.99 / €119.99, sitting on shelves next to two other LEGO Winter Village models, but only for a few months.
Both 10339 Santa's Post Office and 10325 Alpine Lodge are now available for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 each, allowing fans to expand their Winter Village with three sets in 2025, although neither of these models is new. Unfortunately, both are scheduled to retire at the end of 2025, and stock may run out before then.
This consequently means that newcomers to the LEGO Winter Village in 2026 will at most have two sets to catch up on, including the inevitable model for next year is revealed to be. Anyone eager to start a LEGO Winter Village display quickly will want to consider picking up 10339 Santa's Post Office, 10325 Alpine Lodge or both before the end of the year.
Otherwise, your annual LEGO Christmas display is going to be considerably more train-centric than most enthusiasts. That might be exactly what you're looking for, but it would still mean that, assuming you pick up just 10361 Holiday Express Train this year, the set will have nowhere to stop until this time in 2026.
Either way, keep in mind the retiring dates of both 10339 Santa's Post Office and 10325 Alpine Lodge, which are unlikely to change this late in the year.
