LEGO up-scaled Santa set continues a recent tradition

The upcoming 40820 Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure is confirmed to continue a tradition found in every other up-scaled minifigure set.

The impending release of 40820 Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure on October 1 marks the launch of the fourth up-scaled minifigure model on the market, following 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, 40649 Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure from 2023 and 40819 Up-Scaled Racing Driver Minifigure from earlier this year. Aside from being larger recreations of iconic minifigures, these models have something in common.

All three previous sets hide a fun reference inside their head. Whether it be a small tropical island, minifigure-sized controls to drive the pilot build like a mech, or an engine, the heads have always featured a fun surprise. That doesn't stop with 40820 Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure.

Much like the secrets in both 40504 A Minifigure Tribute and 40819 Up-Scaled Racing Driver Minifigure, the Easter egg becomes inaccessible once the minifigure is built. This leaves 40649 Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure's head reference as the only one that can be easily accessed.
