A new LEGO Technic rumour suggests that theme will be revisiting a Speed Champions car this summer without breaking the bank.
According to the reliable Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat's latest story, LEGO Technic's previously rumoured 42212 will be a new Ferrari FXX K recreation, following Speed Champions' 75882 Ferrari FXX K & Development Centre in 2017.
It's claimed that 42212 Ferrari FXX K will include 897 pieces for $59.99 and while no release date is stated, this model was previously rumoured to be coming in the summer. That should put it at the same scale as
Revisiting this unique Ferrari car beyond the old six-stud-wide scale of LEGO Speed Champions would be interesting, especially given the higher level of detail and accuracy that Technic allows for. Here's hoping a direct Speed Champions remake isn't far behind the rumoured model.
