LEGO Technic Custom Garage Ford Mustang revealed

The LEGO Group has revealed the customisable and vibrant LEGO Technic Custom Garage Ford Mustang, with pre-orders open right now.

42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car has been unveiled on the official online store. The 973-piece model depicts the titular car as part of Ford's Custom Garage initiative, in which you can customise your car straight out of the factory without having to head to an unofficial garage.

The LEGO Group has brought that concept to life in 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car by featuring a variety of additional components to connect to the base vehicle build. Swappable components include hoods, front splitters, the doors, the roof panels and the spoilers.

The colour scheme of the model is vibrant, with the dark blue contrasted by hues of pink and yellow. It's a unique visual for a LEGO model, but one that works in the upcoming set's favour.

LEGO Technic 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car will be available from August 1, 2026, for £79.99 in the UK, $99.99 in the US and €89.99 in Europe. Pre-orders are open now and will qualify towards the returning Fortnite BrickHeadz gift-with-purchase.
