The LEGO Group has officially revealed LEGO Technic 42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII, due for release in 2026.
Set to race onto shelves on January 1, 2026, 42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII is made up of 793 pieces. It recreates a beloved vintage car from endurance pedigree, priced at £64.99 in the UK, $74.99 in the US, and from €74.99 in Europe.
The model comes complete with play features like a knob on the roof that can steer the car. Open up the doors and you can find interior details to round off the black and silver livery, while the rear hides a LEGO-fied take on a V8 engine.
42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII joins similar-scale Technic LEGO sets like 42212 Ferrari FXX K and 42204 Fast and Furious Toyota Supra MK4, balancing both play and display features.
LEGO Technic 42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII will be available to buy for £64.99 in the UK, $74.99 in the US, and from €74.99 in Europe from January 1, 2026.
