LEGO teases a big announcement for Las Vegas Grand Prix

The LEGO Group has teased a big announcement for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, seemingly tied to the women-only division.

The LEGO Group has taken to Instagram to tease 'something big' ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, sharing a clip of a female minifigure in what appears to be a pink race suit, rounded off with a tyre rolling into shot. The pixellated background is made up of glittering bricks of pink, blue, gold, and white.

"The next big thing is on its way to Las Vegas! We can’t wait…" reads the caption on the post, along with a date, November 19, 2025. The Formula 1 Las Vegas account has commented: "See you there!", confirming that the Grand Prix will be tied to the announcement.

While the tease doesn't confirm what's on the way, the pink and blue colours and the presence of a female minifigure in a pink race suit suggest it could be something to do with F1 Academy, the women-only motorsports division, although that's just us speculating for now. This year, Netflix released a documentary called F1: The Academy, designed to showcase the talent of the young women drivers in the same way that Drive to Survive did for Formula 1.

Academy drivers will be taking part in Round 7 at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, so the drivers will be around for any potential announcements. Whether this could be a social campaign, a fully-fledged Academy set, or anything else remains to be seen. There's just a couple of days to go until we find out what the LEGO Group is teasing about, so keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for all the latest news as we get it.
