Coming in January 2023, LEGO Super Mario is set to expand on a familiar biome in the biggest way so far through two new sets.

However, that's all about to change next year as the snow biome is getting its first full models, bringing a new category of builds to the theme as well as fresh elements. Joining water, grass, tower and more, the snow biome is being explored fully in 71415 Ice Mario Suit and Frozen World and 71417 Fliprus Snow Adventure.
From smaller rock pieces and textured plates representing ice to a new Power-Up Suit, it should be interesting to see the snow biome be more present in LEGO Super Mario following its debut in 2021.
At the time of writing, seven LEGO Super Mario sets have been officially confirmed for 2023, all of which you can read about in our initial report. They are all launching on January 1, 2023.
