LEGO Star Wars short features first look at unseen minifigures

Previously-unseen LEGO Star Wars minifigures have popped up in a new YouTube short, but is this our first look at characters from a rumoured 2026 set?

The Mandalorian and Grogu finally hits the big screen this week and we’ve already received a selection of LEGO Star Wars models based on the upcoming film. However, more such sets are rumoured be spinning out of the movie this year and we may have just had our first look at minifigures from one of those potential builds.

A new LEGO Star Wars Kids YouTube short has dropped today, featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu sneaking aboard an Imperial Remnant walker and doing so while riding on the new vehicle included in 75444 AT-RT Attack.

Its four-legged big brothers in the video appear to be based on the long-since retired 75054 AT-AT (albeit with a new head), although the vehicles in The Mandalorian and Grogu appear to be older variants of those previously spotted in The Empire Strikes Back.

While 75444 AT-RT Attack comes with an Imperial Remnant AT-RT Driver, more characters can be spotted in the YouTube short, including new-look Snowtroopers matching those seen in The Mandalorian and Grogu trailers and also what seems to be an Imperial Warlord commanding the troops.

We've had those printed Snowtrooper torsos and legs before, but of note is the new helmet element, which doesn’t seem to exist yet as a physical LEGO piece. That headgear loses the front cloth covering, revealing a respirator mechanism that’s usually hidden underneath, and is similiar to a piece included in two LEGO Star Wars Rebels sets, 75083 AT-DP and 75141 Kanan's Speeder Bike.

If the updated helmets do eventually become a reality, then those Snowtrooper minifigures might potentially be included in 75454 The Mandalorian & Grogu AT-AT, a LEGO Star Wars model rumoured to be arriving sometime in 2026.

Despite a possible $199.99 / €199.99 price tag and the chance that the build may be based on the vehicles in the new movie, nothing else is known about the rumoured 75454 The Mandalorian & Grogu AT-AT at this stage.

For now though, do treat all of the above as pure speculation on our part, until such time as more LEGO Star Wars 2026 sets are officially confirmed.
