Barnes & Noble in the US is giving away an exclusive LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian & Grogu set for May the 4th, with sign-ups open now for some stores.
In addition to new sets, GWPs, Insiders rewards and more, the annual May the 4th LEGO Star Wars extravaganza regularly includes in-store building events – and the same is true for 2026 in the US thanks to Barnes & Noble, where you can build and take home a 147-piece recreation of Din Djarin and Grogu.
The building event will take place at selected Barnes & Noble stores across the US between May 2 and 4. You can find out whether it’s happening in your area using Barnes & Noble’s store locator. Some of the specific event pages for each store also include links to reserve your slot.
Tickets are free and are required for builders only, so if you’re just accompanying someone else you won’t need an extra ticket – but the event is open to all ages, with one build per person up for grabs. The model features the Mandalorian and Grogu built to Miniland scale, situated atop a small sandy display base.
At first blush it doesn’t look like it features any exclusive elements, so you may be able to recreate it using pieces from your own collection if the instructions find their way online. We’ll keep you posted on that front.
