LEGO Star Wars 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn revealed

LEGO Star Wars is attempting to capitalise on Mandalorian mania by travelling back to the show’s first season with 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn.

Recreating events from The Mandalorian Season 1, this new play-scale Sandcrawler – our first since 2018 – leaves behind the all-brown colour scheme of previous sets in favour of a more generic dark grey, presumably because LEGO Star Wars isn’t grey enough already.

Here’s everything you need to know about this upcoming LEGO Star Wars set, which arrives alongside 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown and 75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4 in August.

While this Sandcrawler may indeed be overwhelmingly grey, the press release for the model is keen to let you know why: it’s ‘the same colour scheme see in The Mandalorian: Season 1’. The set specifically recreates Din Djarin’s encounter with the Mudhorn in Chapter 2: The Child, and there’s a brick-built version of the beast in the box to accompany the Jawas’ rolling home.

Speaking of Jawas, you get three in the box – or Offworld Jawas, to be precise – who are also decked out in grey rather than brown robes. They’re joined by an exclusive variant of The Mandalorian in his Season 1 armour with sand and dirt stains, the new Grogu figure without Beskar armour (who also appears in 75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4), and Kuiil, who returns from 75331 The Razor Crest.

That Ugnaught is likely to be the biggest draw here for anyone who missed out on (or couldn’t justify purchasing) the show’s first Ultimate Collector Series set, given he fetches north of £25 on BrickLink alone at the moment. There’s a lot going on in the builds here too, though.

Two dials on the rear of the Sandcrawler can be turned to steer the vehicle or open and close its front hatch; the main compartment is filled with cargo boxes that contain blue cookies and droid parts; and the Mudhorn is joined by a buildable egg and hoverpram for Grogu.

This is the biggest LEGO August 2026 set revealed so far, and comes in at a price to match. 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn can be yours from August 1 for £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99.
