LEGO Spider-Verse minifigures finally swing into Australia

The LEGO Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse minifigure series has finally landed on Australian shores, so you can at last start scanning for your faves down under.

While everyone else has had a month to collect the 12 characters in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, they’re only available from today in Australia and New Zealand, which typically lag a month behind the rest of the world for Collectible Minifigures releases. Why? Your guess is as good as ours. The important bit is that Australian fans can finally head to stores to start their Spider-Verse hunt.

Do so with Brick Search in hand and you should be able to scan the data matrix codes on the bottom of each box to tell which character is inside, sidestepping all that pesky blind-box gambling. That’s assuming the codes for Australian boxes are the same as those in other regions of the world, and therefore already in the app: if you encounter any boxes that won’t scan, that means there are new codes to be found.

If you buy those boxes and want to help out your fellow LEGO fans on their own search for Spider-Verse minifigures, please get in touch with the Brick Search team on andrew@tiromedia.co.uk to share details of the new codes.

Here’s a reminder of the 12 characters included in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which draws on 2023’s animated movie.

  • Miles Morales / Spider-Man
  • Hobie Brown / Spider-Punk
  • Miles G. Morales / Prowler
  • Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen
  • Miguel O'Hara / Spider-Man 2099
  • Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India
  • Petra Parker / Cyborg Spider-Woman
  • Charlotte Webber / Sun-Spider
  • Margo Kess / Spider-Byte
  • Peter B. Parker / Spider-Man & May 'Mayday' Parker
  • Patrick O'Hara / Web-Slinger
  • Peter Parker / Werewolf Spider-Man

71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is also available at LEGO.com if you want to buy truly blind, but is already temporarily out of stock in Australia.
