LEGO Speed Champions F1 movie car rumoured for 2026

LEGO Speed Champions is rumoured to be expanding its movie-inspired collection in 2026 with a car from Brad Pitt’s 2025 F1 film.

Building on its complete grid of Formula 1 cars in 2025, LEGO Speed Champions will reportedly be turning to fictional racers next year with APXGP, the underdog team created specifically for F1 The Movie. That’s according to BrickTap, which claims that 77252 APXGP Car will join the already-revealed 77255 Lightning McQueen on shelves in January.

That would make it the third movie-inspired car either confirmed or rumoured for release at the beginning of 2026, alongside 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future (almost certainly not that set’s final name, but that’s what previous rumours have labelled it). LEGO Speed Champions has dipped its toes back into the cinematic pool this year already with 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000.

We don’t yet have a price or piece count for 77252 APXGP Car, but all other solo Speed Champions cars in 2027 are currently confirmed or rumoured to retail for $27.99 each in the US, representing yet another price increase for this theme stateside (even if it is only $1 per car).

Check out the table below for the current list of LEGO Speed Champions sets for 2026, but remember to take all unconfirmed details with a grain of salt.
