Following an early retailer listing, here is a full gallery of images and confirmed international prices for 2024's LEGO Sonic 76995 Shadow the Hedgehog Escape.
Originally spotted on online retailer JB Spielwaren, the LEGO Group has now officially unveiled Shadow's entry into the LEGO Sonic theme. 76995 Shadow the Hedgehog Escape is a play-focused set that features various interactive functions, now clearly revealed in the wide variety of pictures on its LEGO.com listing. The transparent door to Dr Robotnik's stasis chamber can open, allowing Shadow to escape – but the action doesn't stop there.
The black-spiked hedgehog, debuting as a minifigure for the first time, can then race his buildable motorcycle past a falling barricade before destroying the RhinoBot and releasing the Clucky. At just 196 pieces, the brick-built elements are not large but they are effective for play.
The main attraction of 76995 Shadow the Hedgehog Escape, however, is surely the minifigure itself. Sporting the same style spikes as Sonic but with a more upturned angle, Sonic is black, white, and red, with a matching dark motorbike, the Dark Rider to match.
Releasing on January 1, 2024, LEGO Sonic 76995 Shadow the Hedgehog Escape will retail for £18.99 / $19.99 / €20.99
