The actor's reaction to the set features some fact-sharing when demonstrating the main function and a bigger response when seeing himself as a minifigure. That is only amplified when a surprise up-scaled minifigure build is unveiled and handed to Ryan.
The LEGO Group's collection of up-scaled minifigures hasn't covered many licensed properties so far, but it can now add Project Hail Mary to the limited list. The unique model was shown to Ryan in the video, complete with full printing replicating the designs of the minifigure in
Whether the build has been gifted to Ryan or kept by a member of the crew, or another fate entirely, is unknown. Either way, it's an interesting model to add to the list of every up-scaled LEGO minifigure, even if it is unlikely to ever be released officially. It will be interesting to see whether the LEGO Group replicates this marketing tactic for Ryan's upcoming Star Wars movie.
