LEGO Architecture pyramid gifted to Egyptian Foreign Minister

The Danish Foreign Minister had the perfect LEGO gift for the Egyptian Foreign Minister in a meeting, which seems to have been well-received.

A meeting between Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty saw an exchange of gifts, and the Denmark representative had the perfect present in mind. Badr Abdel Aty received a copy of the 1,476-piece 21058 Great Pyramid of Giza, representing the history of the landmark from his country.

The LEGO Architecture set goes for £119.99 / $129.99 / €139.99 and is available now, depicting the Great Pyramid of Giza as it is believed to look in its heyday, complete with an under-construction model of the pyramid underneath. It's the ideal crossover between LEGO, a Danish company, and Egypt, making the set the perfect gift for the Foreign Minister.

Photos from the meeting, including from Co Magazine, demonstrate just how pleased Badr was with the gift, with a smile on his face. Hopefully, he has the chance to put it together soon between meetings and other work. Anyone tempted to purchase their own copy of the LEGO Architecture set can do so now for £119.99 / $129.99 / €139.99.

21058 Great Pyramid of Giza is the only LEGO Architecture set so far to depict a landmark as it would have looked in ancient history, as opposed to in the current day. You can find out more about this unique creation in our detailed review.
