With the submission period for the LEGO Ideas Pokémon Trading Card Game challenge now closed, it’s time for fans to help choose the winner.
The LEGO Ideas Pokémon Trading Card Game challenge finally closed its doors today, with a whopping 756 entries having been submitted. From those many designs, the review board has selected five of the most impressive brick-built creations, which will now go through to the fan vote stage.
Those hoping to have their say in which of the Pokémon Trading Card Game challenge submissions should get a shot at becoming the Grand Prize Selection have until June 11, 2026 to do so right here, with the winning design going on to become a physical LEGO Ideas set at some point.

Hoping to be in with a shot at top billing is Gyarados: Sunset Splash, a 1,262-piece build by CreativeDynamicBuilder that features a 3D head of the dual-type Pokémon poking out of a colourful 2D background.

That LEGO Ideas submission is joined by The Mythical Arceus, created by livetobuild and constructed from 999 pieces. The Pokémon Trading Card Game challenge model shows the fully-articulated critter emerging from a fireball, complete with galactic backdrop.

Next up is A Mew Soaring High from IsleOh, with the Mythical Pokémon seen floating among the clouds. A detailed background has also been included, one that boasts a small brick-built town, windmills and a river.

Then there’s Rowlet Razor Leaf, the brainchild of fan designer DMWM. The LEGO Ideas submission successfully captures the look of the cute Grass/Flying Pokémon, as it uses its powerful Razor Leaf attack to leap out of the trading card frame.

Finally, Joltik Charges Up! has been created by Chrixeleon, is fully poseable, removable from its background and is said to be close to the creatures actual in-game Pokédex size. The model also includes readable stats and gameplay information as bonus details.
The winner of the LEGO Ideas Pokémon Trading Card Game challenge fan vote will be revealed on February 4, 2026. The successful design will get to see their build turned into a physical retail model, plus they’ll receive 10 copies of the finished model and 1% of the product's total net sales.
The remaining four entries chosen to participate in the LEGO Ideas Pokémon Trading Card Game challenge that don't win the Grand Prize will each be compensated with copies of 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine, 21365 Love Birds, 21376 Orange Cat, 72151 Eevee and 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball.
