LEGO Party adds Bonus Bricks and Classic Space minifigures

A new update for LEGO Party brings a multitude of content to the video game, including Bonus Bricks and more than 15 additional minifigures.

LEGO Party launched in September of last year, bringing with it a whole host of fun multiplayer minigames courtesy of developer SMG Studios and publisher Fictions. Thanks to a new free update that’s dropped, fans can hop back into the title and check out even more exciting content that’s been added to the video game.

For starters, players are now able to vote for a Bonus Brick category at the end of each game, with the winner who gets the most points walking away with extra Golden Bricks when successfully completing one of LEGO Party’s numerous Challenge Zones.

The 1.4 update adds new 2v2 versions of existing minigames too, so that players can finally team up to take on the likes of Graffeeti, Slide Hustle, Feeling Golfy and Saucerlord in Brick Battles and Minigame Rush modes together.

Fresh dance moves and interactable objects have also been dropped into LEGO Party, specifically when checking out the final Minigame Results that reveal just how well players have performed at the end of each challenge.

In addition, LEGO Party now boasts more than 15 new minifigures to add to your ever-growing collection, including a full multicoloured line-up of LEGO Classic Space astronaut outfits and the Alien Commander minifigure.

The update comes hot on the heels of the gold and teal versions of the LEGO Classic Space astronauts now being available from Pick a Brick, allowing fans to finally get their hands on the variant minifigures.

LEGO Party is available to purchase and play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, PC via Steam and Netflix games in select regions right now
