Some familiar LEGO sets make surprise guest appearances in the LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails specials now streaming on Disney+.
Fans of Earth’s mightiest heroes can now sit back and enjoy a two-part animated special that’s available to stream on Disney+. In LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails, the spotlight is on Hawkeye, who discovers the mysterious reason why New York City is being overrun by a cabal of cats and forms a new feline-themed team of characters in order to save the day.
Those who do watch LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails will no doubt also spot a number of surprising cameos from multiple LEGO sets, a few of which were recently revealed in the official trailer for the specials, including Icons, Ideas and Creator 3-in-1 models.
Of note are an expanded version of 10326 Natural History Museum, complete with an additional large wing and two impressive fountains located at the front, ideal inspiration for aspiring builders to assemble their own MOCs.
Also popping up in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails to menace the Hulk and Hawkeye is 31129 Majestic Tiger, a LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set that features the stripey animal itself, as well as alternate builds of a red panda and a koi fish.
In addition to 76269 Avengers Tower, the specials boast an appearance by 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, part of a New York City street scene that also includes a trio of long-since retired modular buildings in the shape of 10243 Parisian Restaurant, 10270 Bookshop and 10255 Assembly Square.
Rounding out the surprise cameos in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails is 21335 Motorised Lighthouse, which Atlantean super villain Attuma is using as his not-so-secret base, and 21338 A-Frame Cabin, home to an unwelcome gathering of Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, much to the annoyance of Santa Claus.
Both of the LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails specials are now available for all subscribers to watch on Disney+.
