Every LEGO Marvel set retiring in 2025 and beyond – January update

Two LEGO Marvel modular buildings have changed places in the retirement schedule, giving the X-Mansion an extra year in production – but curtailing 76178 Daily Bugle’s shelf life by 12 months.

The LEGO Spider-Man skyscraper is now set to retire permanently by the end of 2025, effectively undoing the 12-month extension the LEGO Group handed 76178 Daily Bugle towards the end of 2024. That means you’ve got a little less time than once hoped to save up for what’s easily the biggest and best LEGO Spider-Man set yet, and a necessary purchase if you’re aiming to collect all the LEGO modular buildings released so far.

The good news is that you can at least devote some of your 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion budget to the Daily Bugle, because the latest LEGO Marvel modular – originally scheduled to retire after only a year on shelves in 2025 – will now hang around until at least the end of 2026 (pending any further shuffling of the pack). That means it will retire alongside 76269 Avengers Tower as things stand.

Also bumped up to the end of 2025 (from the end of 2026) are this year’s LEGO Marvel mechs, 76307 Iron Man vs. Ultron and 76308 Spider-Man vs. Anti-Venom, offering a relatively narrow window in which to add those two sets – and their exclusive villain minifigures – to your collection. The rest of the 2025 releases will enjoy at least two years in production.
