Every LEGO Marvel set retiring in 2024 and beyond – January update

Twenty-four different LEGO Marvel sets are retiring in 2024, including one of the first ‘final battle’ models, a much-maligned direct-to-consumer build and two Groots.

The current slate of retiring LEGO Marvel sets will see two dozen superhero sets leave shelves within the next 12 months, leaving 18 products from the current range available in 2025. 76178 Daily Bugle, 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum and 76269 Avengers Tower are all surviving the cull this year, so you’ve got plenty of time left to complete your Marvel modular building collection, but time is short for the likes of 76217 I am Groot and 76249 Venomised Groot.

Also departing this year are 76266 Endgame Final Battle – one of the first in what’s shaping up to be a series of Marvel sets on black bases – and 76210 Hulkbuster, which arrived to a tepid response in 2022 (though has been somewhat rescued by an alternative build available on Rebrickable). Guardians of the Galaxy fans will want to make a beeline for 76251 Star-Lord's Helmet and 76254 Baby Rocket's Ship, meanwhile.

Three 2024 sets are only sticking around for a year – two Spidey and His Amazing Friends 4+ builds, and 76275 Motorcycle Chase: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock – while the rest are currently all destined to survive into 2025.
