LEGO Marvel purchases perfect for the Spider-Verse minifigures

The next LEGO minifigures series focuses on the Across the Spider-Verse movie, and there are some ideal LEGO Marvel purchases to pair with it.

Excitement is building for the 12 new minifigures in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse launching on September 1, and while we wait for the new series to arrive, there are some perfect LEGO Marvel sets and accessories to pick up before then, which will pair ideally with the series.

No matter what budget you're on, here are some of the best LEGO Marvel purchases to plan for ahead of 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse next month.

76311 Spider-Verse: Miles Morales vs. The Spot

As much as you'll already be getting a Miles and Gwen minifigure in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, you'll still need to pick up 76311 Miles Morales vs. The Spot at least for that exclusive The Spot minifigure. The main antagonist of the second and likely third Spider-Verse movie only appears in this set, alongside a minifigure of Miles' dad to boot. It's available now as the only other official Spider-Verse LEGO product for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99 with 375 pieces.

76261 Spider-Man Final Battle

While you're waiting for the latest LEGO product based on a multiversal Spider-Man crossover story to be released, you can still catch up on the Marvel Cinematic Universe's own story and set based on it. 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle is available now, with a retirement planned for later this year at the time of writing. It features a multiversal minifigure selection with many exclusive minifigures for £94.99 / $109.99 / €104.99 and it pairs with 76280 Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle, also retiring in 2025, for a bigger display. You can even increase the crossover by mixing the minifigures from 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse into the scene.

76150 Spiderjet vs. Venom Mech

The retired LEGO Marvel 76150 Spiderjet vs. Venom Mech is also worth adding to your shopping list for a single minifigure in the set. Spider-Man Noir had a major role in the first Spider-Verse film, but to this date, he has only appeared in the 2020 model. A new copy of this build will set you back around £45 on average on BrickLink, which is only slightly higher than the original retail price. Alternatively, the Spider-Man Noir minifigure costs an average of £33.70 on BrickLink.

LEGO Marvel Spider-Man: Explore the Spider-Verse

Cyborg Spider-Woman in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will go perfectly with the Cyborg Spider-Man minifigure that appears exclusively in the recent LEGO Marvel Spider-Man: Explore the Spider-Verse book, and it's available now on Amazon for only £8, dropped from £12.99. It's also available on Amazon US for $16.99.

76178 Daily Bugle

The biggest LEGO Spider-Man set, which also happens to be retiring later this year, is 76178 Daily Bugle, and it includes many exclusive minifigures. While this set will give you another Miles and Gwen minifigure, it's the only current home of Spider-Ham, who appears in the first Spider-Verse movie and is likely to return in the third film.

That's on top of the likes of Blade and Black Cat, in case you needed another couple of reasons to grab this retiring LEGO Marvel model. Its size also makes it a perfect display piece for all 12 Spider-Verse minifigures, much to the disdain of J. Jonah Jameson. 76178 Daily Bugle is still available before the end of the year for £299.99 / $349.99 / €349.99.
