The first trailer for the next LEGO Marvel animated special has revealed some exciting new minifigures, one of which could be coming next year.
The next animated LEGO Marvel special, which was first revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, may be more interesting than you were expecting as the official trailer reveals some intriguing minifigures. As well as a classic version of Vision and Demolition Man himself, one minifigure in particular aligns with a rumoured 2025 model.
The special includes the first official Thing bigfig outside of the LEGO Marvel video games, shortly following the rumours of 76316 Galactus vs The Fantastic Four. The Thing is an iconic member of the superhero team and would almost certainly be featured in a Fantastic Four model – or at least you would expect them to be included. That's not to say that the bigfig would look exactly like that of the Mission Demolition iteration, and the rumour may be false anyway.
Other new characters for LEGO Marvel in the Mission Demolition trailer include Gambit and Outback Dazzler and it's looking to be an interesting watch for Marvel enthusiasts. Keep in mind that just because these minifigures appear in the special does not mean that they will ever exist physically.
The special releases this time next week, October 18, on Disney+ and should make for a fun early weekend watch to get us ready for whatever is next for LEGO Marvel. Here's what's currently rumoured for LEGO Marvel next year.
