The first-ever LEGO Marvel set based on Spider-Man 3 will finally be swinging into collections next year, thanks to an upcoming movie model.
The LEGO Marvel theme has officially revealed six new sets for 2026 today, with a selection of impressive builds that appear to be surprisingly affordable. The upcoming wave drops on January 1 and covers both comic book and film-based source material, including one model based on Sam Raimi’s classic Spidey trilogy.
76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman is a 201-piece build that recreates a key scene from Spider-Man 3, making it the first-ever LEGO Marvel set to explicitly be based on the 2007 movie.
As well as some built-in playability, 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman also looks as if it’ll make for a striking display piece in its own right, thanks to a dynamic recreation of Flint Marko’s gravelly super villain and a dedicated stand with nameplate.
76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman follows in the footsteps of yet another recent Sam Raimi-inspired set in the shape of 76321 Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene, which was spun out of Spider-Man 2 and launched on August 1, 2025.
The good news for LEGO Marvel fans is that 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman includes a total of three minifigures for its price point, two of which are exclusive to the set. The first-ever full Sandman minifigure arrives in addition to a brick-built version of the character, with Spider-Man 3’s Venom matching the look of his on-screen counterpart.
In addition, the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man minifigure boasts dual-moulded legs (but no arm printing), rounding out a model that should prove to be a firm fan-favourite when it arrives next year.
The jury’s currently out on whether or not 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman may ultimately lead to more LEGO Marvel sets based on the Sam Raimi movie trilogy, but it's worth noting that nostalgia is definitely a powerful thing.
