LEGO issues another Star Trek sticker fix, and the third time’s the charm

The LEGO Group has apparently issued another fix for 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D’s sticker sheet, and it looks like the third time’s the charm for the inaugural Star Trek set.

Early reviews of the LEGO Icons Black Friday 2025 release identified a typo in its hidden sticker, which read ‘to boldy go…’ rather than ‘to boldly go…’, and the LEGO Group was quick to rectify it in early December. Too quick, in fact, because accuracy was unfortunately sacrificed at the altar of speed: while the typo was corrected, the replacement sticker sheet introduced a barrage of new errors.

Fast forward two months and the LEGO Icons team has taken a third crack at the offending sticker – with promising results. Brick Fanatics reader John Moriarty emailed in the following images of the new sticker sheet, which appears to fix the errors present across both previous designs: ‘boldly’ is spelled correctly, while the ellipse behind the Starfleet insignia and the rivets in the corners of the plaque have been reinstated.

If you’ve been holding out on applying your 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D stickers in hopes that the LEGO Group would make good on this particular decal, now is the time to get in touch with customer services and request a new sticker sheet. The 3,600-piece set includes 20 stickers in total, the majority of which are applied to the exterior of the vessel.

10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D is available now, and in Australia still qualifies for its corresponding gift-with-purchase 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod through March 1 (or while stocks last). Check out our review of the first-ever LEGO Star Trek set here.
