LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 – everything we know so far

LEGO Insiders Weekend is almost here, so here’s a round-up of everything we know so far about the pre-Black Friday event – and what are likely to be your best buys to maximise savings…

While Black Friday is the go-to event for the best LEGO deals at third-party retailers, LEGO Insiders Weekend is often the time to strike when shopping through official channels. The LEGO Group typically offers early access to Black Friday gifts-with-purchase, additional unique GWPs, double points, exclusive discounts and more for two days only.

This year, LEGO Insiders Weekend falls on November 23 to 24. You’ll need to be a LEGO Insiders member to take advantage of all the offers, deals and discounts, so make sure you’ve signed up to the loyalty program if you’re not already registered. It’s free to join and includes plenty of benefits, such as points to spend on future purchases, so there’s really no reason not to if you’re shopping at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores.

For now, here’s everything we know so far about LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024.

LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 double points

Double Insiders points is back for LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024, which works out to 10% cashback when using your points for discounts on future orders. Spend £100 and you’ll get £10 back in points (and so on). You can also use those points towards exclusive items in the Insiders Rewards Centre, which makes this a great time to stock up on points if you’ve got your eye on any rewards (effectively halving their cost).

LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 free gifts

Three different gifts-with-purchase will be up for grabs across LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024, two of which you can score with any purchases (when spending the minimum amount required) and one of which is tied to orders on sets from specific themes. You can check out all the details on these three freebies below. They may return during Black Friday, but that’s not confirmed at this stage.

LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 discounts

The LEGO Group hasn’t yet confirmed which sets (if any) will be discounted during LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024, but the rumour mill suggests we’ll be seeing sales on at least five retiring sets – chief among which is 75313 AT-AT, the first and only Ultimate Collector Series Imperial walker that retails for a staggering £734.99. A 20% discount on that would be very tasty indeed. Check out all the rumoured discounts so far in the table below.

LEGO Insiders Weekend discounts will be available from November 23 to December 2, or while stocks last. Expect discounted retiring LEGO sets to sell out quickly.

LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 rewards

At least one new reward will be available to claim in the Insiders Rewards Centre from November 23, in the form of 6550800 Barracuda Seas. This tiny tribute to the retro LEGO Pirates Black Seas Barracuda will cost 2,400 points, which you’ll need to spend £300 to earn (or £150 during a double points event, like LEGO Insiders Weekend), and would otherwise be worth £15 off a regular LEGO purchase.

Other offers in the Insiders Rewards Centre will include select rewards available for 100 points each, the return of the LEGO Christmas Bauble for 1,800 points, and two sweepstakes: one to win 1 million Insiders points, and another to win every current Insiders reward.

LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 best sets to buy

Based on everything we know so far, your best buys this LEGO Insiders Weekend will probably be either retiring sets or brand new releases. If you want to be among the first to own recent drops like 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion and 21353 The Botanical Garden, earning double points and multiple GWPs is probably your best option.

If you’ve got retiring sets to catch up on, meanwhile, you’re going to want to snap those up during LEGO Insiders Weekend or risk missing out altogether. Several retiring sets have already sold out at LEGO.com, and if the rumoured discounts outlined above do come to fruition, they’re likely to be the first to go. Our top picks of those would be 75313 AT-AT and 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens.

Both of those sets would qualify for double points, 40699 Retro Record Player and 40700 Winter Holiday Train, while the NINJAGO set would also qualify for the theme-specific Winter Holiday Crafting Set.
