The LEGO Ideas second 2025 review closes in less than a day, and two projects have managed to sneak into the round just in time.
LEGO Ideas Creative Lead Jordan David Scott recently stated that the deadline for the huge LEGO Ideas second 2025 review was at the end of August, and today is the last day of the month, with the round still open for submissions. Based on this comment and previous years, it's likely that the round will stop accepting entries after today and that the third 2024 review will start on September 1.
With this in mind, two more projects have just about managed to reach the second 2025 review, based on a popular French animated series, as well as a collection of flowers.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir - Marinette's House
The world of the animated Miraculous franchise has been brought to life in a 3,807-piece recreation of Marinette Dupain-Cheng's Paris home and bakery. The three-storey building would make an interesting addition to a modular city, and while mini-dolls are proposed for a LEGO Ideas set, everything is roughly to scale with minifigures, as well.
The multi-season French animated series has inspired multiple seasons, specials, and a feature film and includes many characters with superpowers granted by their Miraculous artefacts. Mini-dolls of the show's various characters are posited for a LEGO Ideas set as it reaches the second 2025 review just in time.
Fynbos Flowers
SuperstofBricks' first project to reach 10,000 supporters rivals the Botanicals models with a display of South African flowers, featuring Fynbos flowers and plants from the Cape Floral Kingdom. The floral display is intended for a surface, or can be hung on a wall, the latter of which could be a unique selling point for a LEGO Ideas set compared to the likes of the Botanical Collection.
Both builds have successfully reached the second 2025 review as the deadline for entries gets closer by the minute. While one other project is close to 10,000 supporters, it seems likely that the biggest LEGO Ideas review in history will cap off at just under 150 submissions.
