The winners of the recent LEGO Ideas Micro Space Exploration challenge have been revealed, with impressive entries winning out-of-this-world prizes.
The LEGO Ideas team recently threw down the gauntlet for fan builders to come up with their own miniature creations based on otherworldly concepts. The Micro Space Exploration challenge has now drawn to a close and the winners of the intergalactic contest get to walk away with some stellar prizes.
Following more than 497 deep space designs having been submitted, the LEGO Ideas team has selected one Grand Prize winner and five runners-up, with each fan-made model offering up a very different out-of-this-world build.

Walking away with the top prize is Exploring the Stars, Surface and Subterranean by La Brickoleuse, a striking diorama that features a setting sun on an alien world, spaceships racing across the sky and an intricate cave system hidden below the surface.
Also impressing the LEGO Ideas judges is Exploring Our Cosmos – Outerspace Megalopolis, the creation of Raguidel, To Infinity and Not So Far… by Clodor8, Planet Holiday from gpc-x, Miss. Bubbly’s Molecule Shrinkage Black Hole, and Mapping the Stars by ModularManiac.
The Grand Prize Selection walks away with copies of 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System,
A new LEGO Ideas Rebuilding Outdoor Adventures challenge launched earlier this week, with the latest competition tasking fans to come up with their own designs for a potential future GWP.
