LEGO Ideas first 2026 review grows with Castle board game

An update to the LEGO Ideas first 2026 review has seen it grow with two more models, both based on properties familiar to the LEGO Group.

The latest round of the LEGO Ideas review is now underway, growing with two more submissions since our last update. Whether you like classic science fiction movies or familiar LEGO themes, read on to see what is due to be considered for an official LEGO set.

The Fifth Element - Korben Dallas Taxi

The 31.4cm long The Fifth Element - Korben Dallas Taxi proposal presents the LEGO Group with an opportunity to depict the film with a set for the first time, complete with two minifigures, a MultiPass and a recreation of the flying taxi that is not to scale with the minifigures.

The LEGO Group were ready and willing to make a The Fifth Element set featuring this same taxi and minifigures in the '90s challenge, but the community voted for The X-Files instead. Now, The Fifth Element has another chance at LEGO Ideas success, and we know that the property is approved for a model already.

Majisto Board Game

Much more familiar to the LEGO Group is the Majisto Board Game from Juanjobricks. This model is named after the LEGO Castle character, proposing a board game build which can be customised thanks to a modular design system.

It's a similar project to the many proposed based on Dungeons & Dragons, though the LEGO Group ultimately went in a display-oriented direction for that property. Whether they would do the same for LEGO Castle or go with this game-driven submission is unclear.

For now, the two projects have joined the first 2026 review, which now has five total submissions.
