The stunning animation of Studio Ghibli is being proposed for a LEGO Ideas set again as the first 2025 review tops 50 projects.
Following multiple previous and unsuccessful LEGO Ideas Studio Ghibli submissions, janrssx is aiming for success by blending nine animated movies into one beautiful build.
Their 4,200-piece creation pays tribute to Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Porco Rosso and Ponyo. This is done through minifigures, small builds, larger location-based models and more throughout the sizable set.

For now, janrssx has the same chance as any other submission in the first 2025 review, but we'd note that it made it to 10,000 supporters in just over one month. The current review round has now reached 50 submissions, ranging from an Apple Store to Taylor Swift to even the Power Rangers.
